Colchagua Valley Wine Route

Fine wines, great experiences, amazing food, local crafts and much more

The Asociación Viñas de Colchagua is a winery association whose main purpose was to establish Chile’s first wine route, bringing together wineries, wine makers, hospitality services and local producers in an associative fashion.

Colchagua Valley is just over an hour drive south from Santiago and it is home to Carmenere, -one of the most ancient European varieties- that is rarely found in Europe anymore and widely grown in Chile, particularly in the Colchagua wine region that enjoys diverse weathers, from the dry-and-warm intense hot days at the Andes foothills to the cool-breezed afternoons by the Pacific coastline.
